''Business Wise is an inspiring tale, vibrant in its detailing and engrossing in its story, and at times. It is a rich book in historical detail and so compelling, the author has delivered a stunning, multi-layered gem of a novel, with brutal honesty. She illuminates the relationships, romances, business, competition and friendships in a perfect  performance!''
''Business Wise captured my attention the minute I knew that it was set in 1980's Australia and I can confidently say that Clarke has delivered a vivid and inspiring historical fiction book that will win you over.''
Business Wise is not for every reader.
Not a One-Size-Fits-ALl-Read. It's a quirky mix - some love the story, others prefer regular storytelling. Read if it's up your alley.

Visual language is clear, detailed and describes the setting more. This makes the story easier to imagine.
Business Wise is written from multiple perspectives. You experience the story in more than one way. You can tell once the perspective changes. It's shown.
Most of our stories are set in Australia. Business Wise (Part One) is specifically set in Sydney and Melbourne.
Heavy topics make your mood heavy. Topics we avoid are: murder, horror, severe abuse and religion, politics, bloodshed and topics that affect anxiety.
You get to feel safe here. Don't fear your favourite characters get written out drastically. We don't do that.
Instead, bond with the fictional characters.
Once you open the book, you see a visual surprise. Find it as you start and once you're done reading.
Prevent you get a story hangover from Business Wise.

We stopped reading fiction because it felt the character was 24/7 alone - and it made us bored! So, we write in multiple perspectives to give you sneak peeks. Stories should be visual to, read like a movie. It's an improved reading experience (subjective) and allows you to decide for yourself which character you like most!
What is there not to love about Australia? All kidding aside here, we love Australia enormously (runs deep!) It has all the elements we want: glamour, elegance, fun, colourful characters and most of all: Australia feels like home. We literally write stories set in Oz with a huge smile on our face.
Business Wise includes some drama, yes. The difference is that we don't push storylines too far. To us, stories should make you feel safe and protected - not filled with anxiety. Heavy topics are avoided, drama is included but expect that it will be okay. Fiction should be your safe place where characters take care of you.
This doesn't mean we kept grammatic errors in! It's about avoiding it becomes a surgical reading environment: so much editing that it feels robotic. That's what we dislike about regular fiction books. It often lacks feeling and seems as if the creativity was edited out. So we work with editors that respect our guidelines. Our editors are real readers and are trained to understand what we need stories to be. This results in less edited stories, that meet our standards. You get proof it's written by a real human.
If you love heavy topics; thrillers and the ultimate shock factor you are unlikely to like this story. And - if you prefer books with one single perspective (one main character) and simple stories, we doubt Business Wise is for you.
Favourite topic! Business Wise is a respectful nod to The Flying Doctors, A Country Practice, McLeod's Daughters and a ton of fanfiction we wrote as a The Flying Doctors fan.
